Bakirkoysackaynak is a series of workshops, anthologies and readings. Cara Bruce and Shawna Kenney, two professional writers, editors, teachers and publishers collaborate with you in perfecting your work for publication.
Bruce and Kenney met nearly 10 years ago while booking readings in San Francisco and Los Angeles to promote their very first books. Their lives intersected once again when both authors respectively moved back to the east coast. A flurry of creative activity produced a literary events series, which debuted in early 2009. Pinchback Press has since expanded to a workshop series and publishing imprint based on the idea that stories are universal and writers no longer need be bound by region, genre or inexperience.
